The applicant is informed after the application is evaluated and a decision is made. The 5-year residence permit issued after approval provides the right to live in Greece and visa-free travel within the Schengen Area.
Investment Options
Italy residence by investment program offers different investment models. Minimum amount and terms vary depending on investment type. The basic criteria for applying to the Italy residence by investment program are as follows:
- The investor can make a non-refundable donation of €1,000,000 to projects of public interest for Italy.
- The investor can invest a minimum of €2,000,000 in Italian government bonds.
- Applicants must document that they have an annual income of at least €32,400 from sources outside Italy and have a minimum savings of €30,000.
- Additionally, remote working experience of at least 6 months is required.
- Eligibility and Security Screening: Applicants must present clean criminal records and pass official security checks.
- Minimum Investment Amount: €250,000 (innovative startup investment), €500,000 (Italian company shares), €2,000,000 (government bond) or €1,000,000 (charitable donation).
- Physical Application: A short visit to Italy is required for biometric procedures during the application process.
- Health Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance valid in Italy must be provided.
- Source of Income and Funds: It must be proven that the investment amount is provided from a legal and verifiable source.
